busy busy busy

Wow so I really feel like all I do is work! Mark and I have off together on Mondays, but one day just doesn't feel like enough. Honestly, if I didn't need health insurance, Mark would probably prefer me to stay at home. But it's nice right now to have the extra income and save for when I am home with children. God is good, and this is, once again, just a season.
I had off yesterday and today so I got to spend time with my aunts, cousin, and mom yesterday, and time with my dear friends Alyssa and Lindsay, (whom are both getting married in June, the 19th and 20th, respectively). I have so missed having time with them! We are having a fire tonight with some friends, but it's SO cold! It was gorgeous and sunny and in the 70s a week ago and now it's back down to 50 degrees! Brrr. So you know how everyone seems to have a talent or a skill that they really hone in on? Well for me it used to be ballet, but I was never really amazing at it. Just decent. I seem to have the "Jack of all, master of none" syndrome. Kind of good at a lot of little things. The one thing I am ALWAYS good at is finding the best price for something. I am a serious shopper. Alyssa and Linds suggested that I market my skill somehow, and I so wish it were possible! But I really think I'd have to accumulate a large clientele with loads of money. It's a great thought, because I am really good. They could give you tons of examples. Although I am not in their weddings, I have been able to help them with different stuff since I have recently gone through all of the same life-changing events!
Completely off topic, I have recently discovered "boyfriend" jeans. (Hah, I told Mark they were "husband" jeans!) I haven't purchased a pair yet, but I tried pairs from Gap and Old Navy, and I think I'm sold on the Old Navy ones, solely because of the cost. (See Below)

I like both ways to wear them, and I've been stuck on my skinny jeans for the past, say three to four years? I tend to buy used jeans but I think I'll get these anyway, just because they'll give my wardrobe something a little different. Although once summer hits I will always be in dresses. I have a whole rubbermaid container under my bed full of them, and a lot of new ones I didn't get to wear on our honeymoon because it really wasn't that warm.
Well, hubby just came back in from lighting the fire and he smells like it's a good fire. Time to get my warmies on! Peace.
